Three gearhead families.
Parallel shaft (GN)
Inline gearhead with output shaft parallel to motor shaft. Frame sizes 2GN / 3GN / 4GN / 5GN / 6GN matched to 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 104 mm motors. Compact in-line footprint.
Right angle (GU)
90-degree spiral-bevel / hypoid gearhead. Frame sizes 5GU / 6GU / 7GU. Solid output (RT), hollow output (RC), or L-type hollow-shaft (LC).
L-type (GNL / GUL)
Hollow-shaft variant for direct shaft-mount applications. 89% gearhead efficiency. Combines with 750 W frames to reach output torque up to 200 N·m.

Bidirectional output
Output torque is consistent in either direction, matching the motor command without backlash penalty.
Ball-bearing supported
K = ball bearing on GN units; KB = ball bearing on GU units. Long mechanical service life under industrial loading.
High overhung load
Up to 1500 N permissible overhung load (6GU at 20 mm from shaft end); thrust load up to 300 N.
Wide ratio span
3:1 to 200:1 in standard ratios. Multiple ratios available within a single frame size for application flexibility.
Efficient gearing
81% efficiency at low ratios (3–9), 73% at mid ratios (12.5–18), 66% at higher ratios. L-type variants reach 89%.
Mounting brackets
Square flange face matched to motor frame (60–120 mm). Dedicated aluminum mounting brackets available for 80 mm and 90 mm frames.

The full assembly is encoded as motor + gearhead. Example: Z5BLD120-220GU-30S paired with 5GU30K — a 90 mm 120 W brushless motor at 220 VAC with right-angle gearhead, 30:1 reduction, 3000 RPM input.
